The Department of Civil Engineering was established in 2023 with an annual intake of 60 students. To meet the quality of requirements, departments AICTE Delhi and MSBTE Mumbai. While most dream of success, winners wake up and work hard to achieve it. We are known for excellent results in the MSBTE examination, and our students grab the highest ranks in the MSBTE exam every year. We are always trying to recognize excellence in Civil engineering in Maharashtra. The department has qualified and dedicated faculty and is known for its high academic’s standard, well-maintained discipline and excellent infrastructural facilities. The department has well-equipped laboratories such as SUR, ASU, CTE, SOM, GTE, EGM, CAD, BMC and CIVIL WORKSHOP. We adopted various training for faculty and students and also for overall development.
As the Head of the Department of Civil Engineering at MKD Institute of Technology, it is my privilege to share a few thoughts on the significant role of technical education in shaping a sustainable and progressive society. In today’s dynamic world, skill-based education is not only essential but also a cornerstone of national development—especially in the field of Civil Engineering, which directly impacts infrastructure, urban development, and community well-being. At our department, we are dedicated to cultivating technically skilled, ethically grounded, and socially conscious civil engineers. Our students gain hands-on experience through fieldwork, laboratory training, and real-world projects. We emphasize critical thinking, environmental awareness, and resilience to meet the ever-evolving demands of the construction and infrastructure industry. We are committed to strengthening the connection between academia and society. Through community projects, industry linkages, and innovation-driven initiatives, we aim to address local and global civil engineering challenges. Our graduates emerge not only as competent professionals but also as responsible citizens contributing to the betterment of society.
